This hi-lights an incredible fact about the songs on AT&DQ …
some of them are quite old now.
The oldest, Evenly Easy, dates back to 2002.
The bulk of them come from around 2006, when I got excited that a handful of people reacted positively to the “Honeycut” single.
Since then, I’ve recruited the help of several drummers to try and make it a reality.
In 2006, it was Windmill.
2007 - Jason Nunez
2008 - Tracy Hui
2009 - Jon Poe
2010/2011 - TKO & Tilman Rickert
2012 - ????
Who will come along in 2012 that will finish this puppy with me? He’ll probably look really cute when holding a kitten, and like a fireball when holding the sticks. He’ll probably also find me way too emotional and run away as soon as things start to get good. Maybe “he” will be a “she”.
But also hi-lighted here, AT&DQ just won’t disappear when the drummers do. With adversity, grows determination.
I love and miss each one of those guys. And I’m glad my work with them is forever documented on the inter-tubes.
